UniversityProjectChallenge

Starting uni can be both exciting and daunting. To prepare myself for the journey (and to be honest, to add stuff to my rather empty GitHub), I've decided to take on a personal challenge: building one project, per week, every week until I officially start my university degree in September 2026.

The Challenge

The idea is simple; each week, I will come up with, design, and build a small project. These projects can range from web applications, mobile apps, scripts, or even hardware projects. The goal is to explore different technologies, improve my coding skills, and create a diverse portfolio that showcases my abilities.

There will be a link to all the projects I build at the end of this post, so stay tuned!

Why Take on This Challenge?

I was bored :)

But in all seriousness, I wanted to push myself to be more consistent and disciplined in my learning. By committing to building a project every week, I hope to create a habit of coding regularly and continuously improving my skills.

Project Ideas

Checkout the bottom of this post for a list of project ideas! (And how to suggest one).

Tracking Progress

To keep track of my progress, I will be documenting each project on my blog and sharing the code on GitHub. This way, I can reflect on what I've learned and also share my work with others.

You can follow along with my journey and see all the projects I've built so far on my GitHub or Personal GitLab.
